Great food but not a lot of selection at the buffet. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. Being a small town it's understandable that they can't have a ton of choices at their all you can eat buffet like they do in Vancouver where we are from. There was only one other family there when we went. The rest of the place was empty. The food was hot and fresh though. I'd go back for sure next time i'm in town. Update... We are visiting Merritt again but due to covid the buffet was closed so we ordered take out. It was amazing. Delivery was fast. Food was hot and fresh. Prices were good. They even gave us a free sesame chicken with our order. Very happy. This is some of the best Chinese food I've ever had.
The food was delicious and prepared in generous portions. My family and I stopped for lunch on the way home. We ordered chicken fried rice, noodles, ginger beef and chicken with broccoli. It was a perfect amount of food for the 5 of us and was easily more affordable than if we had all stopped for fast food and each ordered a meal. I would recommend this restaurant for a well prepared meal on the go to anyone driving through. Just remember to ask for eating utensils. We just used the lids as plates. They even threw in a free order of ginger beef as a thank you for making the stop! What are you waiting for?? Go now!
Placed a takeout order on a holiday Monday. Food was hot and ready when I arrived. They also included a bonus dish for free. Everything was tasty and portions were a good value compared to price. Dry garlic pork and fried rice were exceptionally good. We are new to Merritt and will order here again when the craving for Chinese food hits.
I just ordered a combination dinner because I was staying in Merritt overnight and the lady was so cute and friendly and the meal was fantastic.
Last night was the third time we ordered from this restaurant. It was my husband's birthday so I ordered for three instead of for two since it's just the two of us. I ordered the combo plus an extra soup. When my husband picked up our order, she added a free plate of sesame chicken which is in the picture. That's a very nice gesture of the lady even though I didn't mention my husband's birthday, maybe the owner of the restaurant I'm assuming. There's also fried rice that didn't get take out of the bag yet (forgot). Also exchanged sweet and sour pork for bbq pork which is okay. Altogether made a nice birthday dinner that made the two of us happy and full plus the beautiful cake I ordered from M. T. DREAMS
Ordered take out, and it was absolutely delicious!!! Best Chinese we have had in a long time!! Large portions, we will definitely order again!
